If you were disappointed by the movie, just wait til you play this game.
The thing is, it doesn't even look terrible, it just plays terrible. All of the screens look the same, the enemies have no variety, and the controls?? Forget about it.
Q - move up
A - move down
O - move left
P - move right
Spacebar - shoot
Even if I didn't shoot the oncoming enemies my health didn't seem to go down? Also none of the doors seem to want to let me in, no mater how many nickels I collected. So didn't get far enough to start caring about this game.

Make sure you redefine the keys, because boy does this game has some strange ideas about defaults. I don't know why the "QAOP" control scheme never caught on.

Not even for Ralph Bakshi completists
Animation historian Jerry Beck described the movie Cool World as being "for Bakshi completists only," and even that is too nice of a description for the game.
